Can you turn off the guild funds thing if we are not doing AVAs. I am giving a fortune to it without returns.

Lots of stuff in the bank just sitting there that can be used by people "sort of" playing. I log in for a few hours a week and never see anyone playing.

There is a defaulted "donation" thing set now, I don't think it can be turned off. I'd have to read through the patch notes for GA which I haven't done in ages. But if I remember correctly, the Agency now gets a "cut" of your mission reward credits, rather than allowing the Agency leader/officers to set a tax rate on said rewards.

This was done basically so that agencies ended up with funds for AvA in a roundabout way, but still had to rely on members to actually donate to stay competitive. Again like I said, I haven't read the GA patch notes in ages but last I checked they moved it to a static cut rather than a tax based system.

As for GA "playing" status, I've been working with the APB crew as of late. I've still scan over my GA newsletters though, and may be back for more soon. Depends on how things shape up with RTW and APB.

I'm still casually playing GA. Though the last couple of days was pretty much MadCan and myself pwning the shit out of Titan Quest Immortal Throne

I don't recall whether "Captain" rank has privilege to take money/items from the guild reserves, but if I can I'll hook people up when things are needed.

There is no agency tax, the funds generated don't come out of your pocket, but are instead magically created based on what you earn.

If you gain 1000 credits from doing a mission, the agency gets 100 credits, that 100 does not come from your 1000.

Ok but are we doing anything with the surplus of items in the bank?

Unless the GA crew ever returns back to active status for AvA the surplus in the bank as far as I know is pretty much available for request. Just ask TJ as I believe he's the last one with permission to remove things from the bank.

I'm still personally keeping an eye on the changes and evolution of things with GA, and I do like many of the things that they've done so far. But we'd need an awful strong return showing to get back into AvA, and I'm still thinking the AvA needs a few tweaks or we'll be back to where we were. Logging in night after night, either to make progress at first only to get blindsided and be unable to defend against the onslaught or just not be able to make any progress due to having been out of the AvA scene for so long.
